About the Author

David D. Busch started on eBay in May, 2000 as a way to add to his various hobby collections of science fiction and vintage videogame items, and soon discovered that his marketing skills gave him an edge in selling surplus purchases online. His booklets, No Brainer Guide to Atari 2600/2600 Jr Upgrade and Repair and No Brainer Atari Controller Repair Kit have sold more than 2000 copies, exclusively on eBay and his Web sites.

Busch is the author of more than 75 books on computer and Internet-related topics; a pioneering denizen of the online world since 1981 (back when The Source and MicroNet were the leading real-time dial-up options); and an eBay buyer/seller with more than 8000 transactions under his belt. A PowerSeller until he split his eBay efforts among seven individual eBay IDs (to achieve a “friendlier, lower-volume/personalized service image”), he’s collected 6,253 positive feedbacks with only 5 negatives during that span. Busch developed his marketing expertise while a partner in one of the largest public relations firms in San Diego County, California (until 1992) as a consultant for Fortune 500 companies like Kodak, NCR, Xerox, IBM, Unisys, and Motorola.

His recent conventional books include Digital Photography All-in-One Desk Reference for Dummies (Wiley.)
